Vyrgent Receptionist for Zoom (Meeting SDK application) · Last updated September 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Vyrgent Receptionist application ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when it is used with Zoom's Meeting SDK. The App is operated by Vyrgent. By installing or using the App, you agree to this policy.
Summary: The App joins Zoom meetings as an AI receptionist to greet and assist participants using audio and an on-screen avatar. It processes meeting audio and text in real time only to respond during the meeting. It does not sell personal data, does not use meeting content for advertising, and does not retain meeting audio or video beyond what is needed to operate during the session.
Information the App accesses
Meeting join details — the meeting number/ID and passcode you provide, and an SDK signature generated from the app's Zoom credentials, used solely to join the meeting you request.
In-meeting audio and text — spoken audio and chat/text in the meeting are processed in real time so the receptionist can understand and respond. This is used only to generate the App's responses during the active session.
Participant display name — a participant's Zoom display name may be used to address them during the meeting.
How the information is used
To join the requested meeting and provide a live, conversational AI receptionist (understanding speech, replying with synthesized audio and an avatar).
To operate features the user explicitly enables (for example, greeting participants by name).
We do not use meeting content for advertising, profiling, or resale, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers strictly required to operate the App (for example, speech-to-text, language, and text-to-speech processing), each acting on our instructions.
Data retention
Meeting audio and video are processed transiently and are not stored after the session, except where the account operator has explicitly enabled a feature that saves a transcript or recording, in which case that content is stored only in the operator's own storage (for example, their own cloud drive) under their control. Operational logs may retain non-content metadata (such as a meeting id and timestamps) for reliability and troubleshooting.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with subprocessors necessary to deliver the service, and only to the extent required to operate the App. We may disclose information if required by law.
Security
Zoom credentials and any stored secrets are held securely (encrypted at rest via the operating system's secure storage) and are never placed in public repositories. Access is limited to operating the App.
Your choices
You control whether the receptionist joins a meeting; it only joins meetings you direct it to.
You can remove/deauthorize the App at any time from your Zoom App Marketplace account, which ends its access.
Children's privacy
The App is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
