Vyrgent Inc. ("Vyrgent", "we", "us") makes Vyrgent Command, desktop and server software that runs AI assistants for a business: phone calls, text messages, email, a customer list (CRM) and document preparation. This policy explains what information is handled when you use our website, our software and our services.
1. Who is who
If you are a customer who installs Vyrgent, you decide what goes into it, and you are responsible for the information of your own callers, clients and contacts. For that information, Vyrgent acts as your software provider and you are the business in control of it. This policy covers what we collect ourselves.
2. Information we collect
- Account and billing details: your name, email, business name, plan, and payment details. Card payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
- Installation information: when the app checks for updates or confirms your subscription, it sends a machine ID, app version, operating system, your plan, and the list of plugins and skills installed. It does not send your calls, messages, contacts or documents.
- Website information: messages you send through our contact form and standard web-server and analytics data (pages visited, browser type, approximate location from IP address). We use Google Analytics on vyrgent.com.
- Support requests: emails or messages you send us, and anything you attach.
3. Information that stays on your computer or server
The following is stored on the machine where Vyrgent runs, not on our servers: call logs, recordings and transcripts, voicemail, text and email conversations, CRM contacts and notes, documents you upload, the knowledge base, and your settings. Secrets such as passwords and API keys are kept in your operating system's secure storage (macOS Keychain or Windows credential store). You can export or delete this data at any time from within the app or by removing the app's data folder.
4. Outside services that receive data
Vyrgent only talks to a service when you connect it. Depending on what you turn on, information is sent to:
- AI model providers (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google), or a local model on your computer: the text, call transcripts, documents and instructions needed to produce an answer. When you use the local model, nothing leaves your machine.
- Twilio (phone and text): phone numbers, call audio, recordings, voicemail and message content, so calls and texts can be placed and received.
- Speech and voice services (for example ElevenLabs, or the voices built into Twilio, Amazon Polly or your Mac): the text spoken to callers.
- Dropbox, Google, Microsoft and email providers: files, calendar items and email that you connect.
- Stripe: billing details for your subscription.
- Other integrations you set up, such as DocuSign, Lead Docket, Google Ads or social networks.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and handles data under its own terms. We do not give any of them more than a feature needs.
5. Call recording and AI calls
Vyrgent can record calls, transcribe them, and answer calls with an AI voice assistant. Laws about recording differ by state and country, and some require every person on the call to consent. You are responsible for telling callers when a call may be recorded or is answered by an AI, and for following the laws that apply to you. The app can play a notice at the start of calls.
6. Text messages
Text messages are sent only to people who have contacted the business or agreed to receive them. Every recipient can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, and HELP for help. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Message and data rates may apply.
7. How we use information
- To provide, bill for, secure and support the software and services.
- To send updates, security notices and answers to your requests.
- To improve reliability and fix bugs, using the installation information in section 2.
- To meet legal obligations and to prevent fraud and misuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your business data to train AI models.
8. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers described above that are needed to deliver what you asked for, when the law requires it, to protect our rights and users, or as part of a sale or merger of the business (with notice to you).
9. Retention and security
Data on your machine stays until you delete it. We keep account and billing records as long as your account is active and as needed for tax and legal purposes. We use encryption in transit, operating-system secure storage for credentials, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your own computer, passwords and backups protected.
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights, including to know what we collect and to not be discriminated against for using them. Email hello@vyrgent.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. Questions about a business that uses Vyrgent, such as a company that called or texted you, should go to that business.
11. Children
Vyrgent is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will notify customers of material changes.
